With extensive experience in both vestibular rehabilitation and orthopedic sports medicine, I lead two specialized clinics in Hauppauge, NY, dedicated to clinical excellence and individualized patient care.
As the Director of New York Balance and Vestibular Physical Therapy, I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of dizziness, spinning, and balance disorders. By employing advanced canalith repositioning techniques and evidence-based vestibular therapy, I help patients overcome conditions such as BPPV, Ménière's disease, and vestibular migraines.
Simultaneously, through Physical Therapy and Sport Services, I provide comprehensive orthopedic care. My approach combines targeted manual therapy with custom-tailored exercise programs to treat sports injuries, post-operative conditions, and work-related injuries.

Meylin Amador brings a decade of diverse clinical insight to our practice, starting her journey as a Physical Therapy Assistant after graduating from Nassau Community College. She later earned her Bachelor’s from York College and achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. Her professional evolution transitioned from a strong foundation in high-level orthopedic and sports surgical recovery toward specialized pediatric and vestibular care. Meylin is passionate about advancing her therapeutic techniques through rigorous clinical education and research. Having previously served in major orthopedic centers, she now applies her diagnostic skills to help patients manage balance disorders and dizziness. Her approach is rooted in continuous growth and a commitment to helping every patient attain their functional goals through individualized, modern rehabilitation strategies.
